Masters in art with a bachelors in a non-art related field?

I have a bachelors in English from UCLA, but now I’m looking to get a masters in design/art major.

Many people get Master’s degrees in fields different from those in which they got their Bachelor’s. Depending on how many art courses you took as an undergraduate, you may have a number of deficiencies to make-up before you can take graduate level courses. It probably will, therefore, take longer than it otherwise would have for you to complete the degree.
